Pakistan Demographic Health Survey (PDHS) 2006-07
The 2006-07 Pakistan Demographic and Health Survey (PDHS) is the fifth in a series of demographic surveys conducted by the National Institute of Population Studies (NIPS) since 1990. However, the PDHS 2006-07 is the second survey conducted as part of the worldwide Demographic and Health Surveys programme. The survey was conducted under the aegis of the Ministry of Population Welfare and implemented by the National Institute of Population Studies.
Pakistan Demographic Health Survey (PDHS) 2012-13
The 2012-13 Pakistan Demographic and Health Survey (PDHS) is the third survey conducted so far in Pakistan under the umbrella of the global Demographic and Health Survey (DHS) program. The DHS surveys are designed to collect data about demographic and maternal and child health indicators with the purpose of providing reliable and updated information for policymakers and program managers. The National Institute of Population Studies (NIPS), a leading research organization in the field of population and development, successfully completed the PDHS with technical support from ICF International and the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS) and financial support from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
Pakistan Demographic Health Survey (PDHS) 2017-18
The 2017-18 Pakistan Demographic and Health Survey (PDHS) was implemented by the National Institute of Population Studies (NIPS) under the aegis of the Ministry of National Health Services, Regulations and Coordination. This PDHS is the fourth to be conducted in Pakistan and follows surveys in 1990-91, 2006-07, and 2012-13
Pakistan Maternal Mortality Survey 2019
The 2019 Pakistan Maternal Mortality Survey (2019 PMMS) was implemented by the National Institute of Population Studies (NIPS) under the aegis of the Ministry of National Health Services, Regulations and Coordination, Islamabad, Pakistan. ICF provided technical assistance through The DHS Program, a project funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) that provides support and technical assistance in the implementation of population and health surveys in countries worldwide.
